Now the Summer holidays are here, taking your youngsters to the pool is an enjoyable day out.  They can have fun splashing around and you can encourage them to feel more confident in the water.

Being able to swim is a life skill and it can ultimately save your life.

Go to your local pool and if your unsure where it is then give your local council a call.  They can give you the information and you'll know what's available near you.  Keep your kids safe and enquire about swimming lessons on offer or nearby.

Now all you have to do is get your kids all kitted out.

You'll need:-

swimming costume or trunks

goggles (some children react to water in their eyes)

buoyancy aids (arm bands etc.,)

swimming cap (girls with long hair may prefer this or hair bobbles to tie hair up)

towel to dry off afterwards

dry clothes to change back into

have your money ready to pay

Have a Splashing time!
